Wow, so it has been a long time since I have posted on here. It is already November. Hmm the holidays are coming. To fill you in on whats been going on.
MB (MonsterBoy or Dalton) has been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. So we are now a Gluten Free household and let me tell you Gluten is in everything. I am also working at the Parlor Spa in downtown Lynchburg. And I LOVE it. We are constantly busy and it makes the days go by so much faster.
I will try to get on soon and update projects, pictures, etc. Hope everyone is enjoying their fall.

I just wanted to post my intentions for the new moon:
I am so Happy and Grateful now that....
~I am a happy and healthy individual
~I am a successful massage therapist
~All Ways Wellness Center is Successfull
~Dalton is a Happy and healthy child
~I am a sexy and desirable woman
~That there is more than enough money to pay the bills and more
~I am losing weight in a healthy and successful way
~I have received a massage
~I have enjoyed me time
~I have done something special with Dalton
I am also doing an abundance ceremony tonight. I am sending these into the universe for her divine knowledge and power.

Aahh February is Here and almost over! Ha Ha
Ok, So I haven't posted as much this year as I should be and I am sorry for that. I've been busy. And the weather has been bad, and lets face it no one reads this blog anyway. =) Thanks to those who do. So, I have finished two more felted objects: a frog
and a rabbit head
I also did two felted hearts, one is twilight themed.
I am working full time in Bedford now at All Ways Wellness Center. I really love doing massages and body scrubs. I am working on a line of spa products for the shows this summer and also Level one and two of Reiki. I'll check back soon.

Mom, What's for Dinner?
So, like most people this time of year I am over run with leftovers. My son asks me what was for dinner and I really don't want to cook so...Creativity sets in.
Chili Potatoes:
Using leftover Roasted Potatoes, I covered them with Chili that my mom had made and given me. Then some frozen corn went on top. Next LOTS of Mexican Cheese blend. Baked until hot and bubbly. When it came out of the oven I topped it with some French Onion Dip. Remember the goal is to Clean Out the Fridge.
Leftover Spaghetti:
I had frozen my leftover sauce but still had noodles in my fridge. Pulled them out along with some mushrooms that looked a little pathetic. Got out my skillet and heat it up with some EVOO. Minced the mushrooms and put them in the skillet with some minced onion and garlic powder. Sauted until Mushrooms where were I wanted them and then I added some Frozen Peas for color. Once they were hot I added the spaghetti and tossed until it was all mixed and the spaghetti was warm, next Italian Cheese Blend went in. It melted quickly. One the plate it went. My son loved this and even ate most of the peas out of this though he said they were "yucky" at first site. Next time I will use real onions and fresh garlic.
Both of these recipes will be great if made from leftovers or not. They are keepers. Enjoy.

Happy New Year All!!
So, I have been really busy obviously. I graduated in July 2009!!! Yay from Massage School. I however am still waiting on taking my certification. I have picked up many new hobbies, one being needle felting. I have done quite a few in the past few weeks. I have posted some picks on Flickr my ID is majikpotion. I really seem to enjoy doing it and hope to expand it in the upcoming year. D is doing good, he has started Montessori school and seems to love it. It's amazing how fast 2009 went by. I have made some great friends this past year. My Resolutions are: to make new friends, finish one knitted item a month, and do better in my school work. Not too bad, they seem realistic to me. So here are some pics:
This is a Penguin that was given to my sister, Gabby for xmas.
This is a beagle I am working on as a commission piece. Will post pics of him when I finish.

Summer is Almost Here
So much has been going on lately. Summer is almost here, and the weather goes from being beautiful to being cold and rainy. Ahh, it's just that time of year.
I got pinned for my graduation. I am so excited. July 1st I finish classes and July 18th I get to walk. I never got to walk for high school so this is big for me.
This is a Picture of those of us that were pinned for graduation on Tuesday.
I have also become a WIP whore, who's kidding, I've always been one, its just more obvious now.
Pictures of newer Projects:
Cotswold/Angora/Angelina, Hand-dyed, Hand-carded, by my mom This is a 1 oz batt, give or take, that I am spinning on a Spindle to see how it spins up.

I'm calling this Bubble Wrap. It reminds me of Bubble Gum. This is going to be a wrap when I am done. Really easy knit, I am about 80% through it now. Pattern is on my Rav Page.
This is a really bad picture, but this is the Dragon Scales Shawl. I am working on this for my mom, its a really late Mother's Day present, I am about 50% through.
So, This is it for now. Hopefully, it won't take me as long to update next time.
